Our client, a leading supplier of lightweight, high-strength, heat-resistant and noise-suppression structures. With complete in-house structural design and analysis, tooling, and manufacturing capabilities, their history includes over thirty years of solving structural problems for commercial and military aircraft, space vehicles, missiles, naval vessels, and other transportations, environmental, commercial, and industrial applications.

Under minimal supervision, repairs and maintains all machine tools and hydraulic systems and MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE REPAIRING HEAT TREAT MACHINES AND/OR VACUUM FURNACES

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions in computer controlled or conventional machinery including Vacuum Furnaces.

2. Performs mechanical periodic maintenance on all machines and hydraulic systems.

3. May be required to perform mechanical repairs on any equipment throughout the facilities.

4. Maintains records associated with periodic maintenance.

5. Fills out requisitions to order replacement and spare parts of equipment.

6. May drive company vehicle or forklift

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Exerting 20 to 75 pounds of force
Prolonged periods of standing
Requires repetitive use of hands, fine manual dexterity
