Manager, Windows Infrastructure – E! Networks – Los Angeles (Los Angeles)

    IT Operations

    Plans, organizes, and directs the day-to-day Windows, Citrix, Messaging, Storage infrastructure, and all related systems operations.

    Preparing and monitoring departmental goals

    Manage Windows hardware and software system related service agreements

    Manage overall operations and maintenance of existing systems and services, ensuring 24×7 availability of production applications and hardware systems

    Supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates assigned staff. Works with employees to correct deficiencies and recommends and implements corrective action and discipline

    Develop personnel through mentoring, technical training, and performance feedback in the form of regular formal and informal appraisal sessions

    Provide leadership and mentoring to enable their growth into highly collaborative teams with strong interactive communication

    Collaborate with Client Services, Software Development, and other technology teams in the project planning process, network infrastructure design and implementation processes, deployment, training, documentation, and production support

    Manage and maintain relationships with internal clients for all corporate applications and external technology vendors

    Required Skills:
    Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable experience

    Must have 10 years of Windows Infrastructure experience

    Must have 3 to 5 years experience managing a Windows team of at least 5 staff

    Experience supporting an organization with 500+ servers with 2500+ clients

    Knowledge of management and supervisory principles and practices

    Skilled in planning, analyzing and coordinating activities and establishing priorities

    Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

    Excellent organizational and training skills

    Strong interpersonal and team building skills

    Verbal and written communications skills and effective presentation skills

    ITIL Certification Preferred

    MCSE Certification Preferred

    PMP Certification Preferred
