Possible titles – Maintenance Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Facility Manager, Millwright. We need a maintenance manager that can fix anything, train others, manage employees, and keep our operation running safely and smoothly. This manager would be responsible for repair and maintenance of all utility and manufacturing equipment for our fabrication and molding operations. This person would oversee the tooling department assuring that custom tools are maintained properly and mounted in the molding machines properly and efficiently. Solid background with boiler operation, air systems, pneumatic controls, electronics, hydraulics, motor controls, pumps, cooling towers, air compressors, etc. We operate EPS (Expandable Polystyrene) molding machines. Experience in this industry would be especially advantageous. Need a person that can make old equipment run well, and help improve the operation. Did I mention they need to be able to fix anything? Must have a huge toolbox and the knowledge and experience to use the tools in it. We are a 40 year old company that is experiencing rapid growth presently in our molding facility. We need the right candidate that can balance the blue collar “get it fixed” with white collar professionalism. A bachelor’s degree would be advantageous but not required. Military experience in a maintenance position beneficial. We are willing to pay the right person what they are worth for this position. We are looking for somebody to take us from “really good” to “world class”. This is a very unique position. You need to be able to get your hands dirty, climb under machines, fix problems, and keep us running. Then, be able to participate in LEAN manufacturing initiatives, attend management meetings, review employees, keep accurate files, develop and manage a PM program, and be part of the management team.
