Marketing Assistant – Online Performance Media Solutions (Santa Monica)

  • Summary of Position:

    The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for various facets of administration and analysis of client campaigns, including but not limited to preparing campaigns for deployment, tracking performance, monitoring and reporting stats, analyzing data, daily servicing of ongoing campaigns, interfacing with colleagues, clients and strategic partners, and nurturing relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

     Monitor campaigns to ensure ongoing campaign success through reporting, analysis, and maintenance
     Prepare campaigns for deployment through multiple divisions of the company
     Analyze data from previous campaigns & measure the effectiveness of specific email promotions
     Create daily and weekly campaign schedules based on campaign performance
     Optimize campaigns and report revenue and database numbers to management
     Identify and solve problems in a fast-paced environment and communicate solutions to superior
     Interpret, analyze and make recommendations against campaign and database metrics
     Apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency and distribution of campaigns
     Collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions on campaigns performance
     Realize maximum revenue opportunity in accordance with goals and objectives of company
     Report stats and recommendations for company growth to management on a weekly basis
     Learn, understand and promote Company’s online media and marketing solutions
     Proactively market and convey advantages of our service to existing and prospective customers
     Meet specific revenue and account based goals
     Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers

    Required Skills/Experience:

     Bachelor’s degree preferred
     Excellent written and oral communication skills (outgoing, well-spoken, professional, friendly and courteous)
     Excellent organizational skills (meticulous and process-oriented)
     Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify and quantify financial impact of opportunities with limited data
     Ability to adjust message to match the audience
     Willingness and aptitude to learn; willingness to seek assistance and technical expertise when needed
     Ability to identify opportunities and set action items
     Display authority and self-assurance when presenting to and speaking with clients
     Proven success in attaining set goals
     Ability to generate opportunities that leverage the organization with existing customers
     Adaptable and flexible in a changing market and work environment
     Exhibits high energy and passion for role, organization and product
     Excellent interpersonal skills
     Able to learn new programs and skills quickly
     Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer)
     Knowledge of graphics, HTML, web pages, and FTP a plus
     Self motivated and driven
