MEDIA/MARKETING INTERNSHIP

Marketing Intern wanted for start-up skin care company. Get in on the ground floor and help develop media/press kit, write press releases, assist with TV segments, web designs, etc.

The ideal candidate is working on a degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, public relations or a related field. Proficiency in new media technology skills is a must. A flexible schedule is ideal.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

 Design – Graphic, web design, print

 Web Development – Developing/Improving client websites, blogs, updating and maintaining websites

 Update Facebook, Twitter, YouTube accounts; and other duties as assigned.

 Design blog posts

Qualifications:

 Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

 Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

 Familiarity with Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube)

 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software

 Must be organized and detail-oriented

 Must be reliable – if you say you are going to do something, you must do it and complete it. No flakes!

 Knowledge of skin care products ideal but not essential

 Must be a team player

 Understanding of and proficiency in SEO skills
