Marketing Manager- Retention (Los Angeles)

The Centre was founded in 1922 and now spans the globe with brick-and-mortar locations in more than 40 cities as well as an extensive online presence in more than 70 countries touching millions of people through kabbalistic texts, courses, online lectures, books, and audio products, including an online university. Our funds are used in the research and development of new methods to make the teaching accessible and understandable.

    We are looking for an experienced marketing and retention manager that can join our Los Angeles communication and digital team. This is a fantastic opportunity and will require at least 4 years experience in digital and acquisition/retention marketing to Work in tandem with the senior management and Digital marketing manager to drive key KPI’s
    The goal is to bring new and improved marketing process/techniques to increase loyalty, structure and cohesiveness, this will include on and offline product acquisition and time and efficiency management of a 30+ student support team to focus their efforts and efficiencies.

    Key Responsibilities:
    The marketing and retention manager is responsible for the successful management of the student support team and efficiency management of their day-to-day activities. The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, a progressive thinker who can improve communication through the student support team to drive offline and online sales/ loyalty and create a retention scheme that improves retention offline through the Global centres.

    You will take responsibility for developing innovative new student support campaigns and initiatives to generate loyalty. It’s a huge challenge but will give you the opportunity to be an integral part of achieving KC’s objectives and a great chance to make your mark.

    We’ll give you a lot of freedom to be creative, innovate and take responsibility for developing new propositions. Working with teams from across the business including Digital, Communications, Key Stakeholders and Finance, this newly created role will give you the chance to make a real impact.

    You’ll most likely be a Marketing or retention Manager in a different sector in a fast-paced industry, ideally one that’s just as focused on customer retention. You’ll have honed your ability to get to the bottom of exactly what different customers want, developing the kind of compelling propositions that ensure their loyalty. You’ll have the analytical skills to create strong business cases for your proposals and the initiative to drive them through to implementation.

    Skills & experience required:
    • At least 4-6yrs of retention experience including multiple project experience
    • Experience in commercial retention decisions.
    • Experience working with acquisition and retention marketing on and off line teams
    • Headstrong, good understanding of implementing marketing strategies.
    • Analysis of data to back up decision making.
    • Highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work with non-technical teammates to translate their ideas into specifications
    • Comfortable working to challenging deadlines in a dynamic environment with a high degree of change.
    • Have experience in building outbound call team scripts.
    • Building KPI’s to focus the support team on their time management
    • Bachelor’s degree/MBA a plus
