MATH TEACHER

arc, formerly CHAMPIONS: Adventure, After School and Sports if currently seeking a math teacher for our Math Lab at one of our After School Programs in Inglewood. This Math teacher will work directly with youth, provide lesson plans for all activities, and demonstrate commitment to working with students Middle School. The right teacher must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills–you will be communicating with administration, parents, and students. Responsible, energetic, and creative individuals are encouraged to apply.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Experience teaching Math to Middle School Students
-Knowledge / experience working in after school programs or youth recreational facilities
-Experience in working with ethnic and culturally diverse communities
-Ability to work collaboratively with parents
-Strong communication skills
-Computer Skills–Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-Current Teaching Credential for teaching Mathematics to Middle School students
-Experience using CA State Standards based math curriculum
-TB Test Clearance & LiveScan Clearance (Background check)
-Bilingual, a plus

LOCATIONS: Inglewood, 90260

HOURS: 3:30 PM- 5:45 PM, Monday — Friday. Attendance at trainings and meetings is mandatory and scheduled. School holidays and breaks off from work.

PAY RATE: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour; 11 hours per week.
