Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® Household Cleaning Products Garden Fresh Tour

We are looking for a Mobile Marketing Production Manager for the Mrs Meyers Clean Day 2012 West Coast Mobile Retail Tour that will be kicking off come May 1st and running for 28 weeks. The MMCD Production Manager must demonstrate strong communication skills, be extremely conscientious, detail oriented and capable of proactively managing production timelines and a team from set up to tear down of each event. Position includes 100% travel throughout the West Coast for a 28 week tour with 7 activations of roughly 1 month each, depending on the market. Markets include San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Eugene, Portland and Seattle. Hours vary and the production manager will work weekends as well as weekdays. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. Candidates must be 21 years old or older (DOT Regulations). Candidates should have a clear criminal and driving history as well as experience and confidence driving a truck.

Production Manager Responsibilities:
Represent with integrity the MMCD brand, and accurately communicate key messages
Act as the MMCD Brand Ambassador by representing the brand with positive and enthusiastic support for the product at all times
Manage all storage, product inventory and tour elements
Set up and break down all tour elements – booth and sinks
Manage on site branding
Manage production elements, permitting, and vehicle maintenance
Maintain contact with event producers and store managers in advancing each event
Oversee and maintain all operations of the customized vehicle
Assist tour manager with retail activations in each market
Assist tour manager with weekly recaps, reports, photos and timesheets

Experience:
Thorough knowledge of principles of effective brand marketing, specifically mobile marketing
Previous experience of managing at least 3 tours
2 years experience in managing Events/Promotions/Tours/Retail
Previous experience managing promotional staff and motivating teams in order to achieve the highest results
Interaction with clients, customers, and internal staff
Leading Setups, tear downs and asset maintenance

Qualification Requirements
2-3 years inside or outside sales/marketing is preferred
Experience in event production and/or mobile tour management
Outgoing, resourceful and able to demonstrate leadership while maintaining a friendly demeanor at all times
Prior knowledge or use of MMCD is preferred
Must pass an MVR check (Motor Vehicle), Background and Drug Screens
Valid drivers license, clean driving record, and medical certification required
Experience driving large vehicles for a mobile tour
Able to commit 100% of time for regional travel and work on the road for the entire 7 month campaign
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Must be available to start April 23, 2012 in Los Angeles, CA for training
