Zecco (www.zecco.com) is seeking a highly motivated Network Administrator for our office in Pasadena, CA.
The Network Administrator will perform multiple functions to support desktops, IT Projects, Production web site, and back office Microsoft Server systems. Candidate must be able to provide hands-on server and network installation and maintenance (including server equipment, networking equipment, Internet access routers, firewalls and tape backup systems). Regular assessment of server, network and workstation, and network design is required to provide feedback to the IT department.
Candidate will respond to network emergencies via mobile telephone at times; participate in on call production support rotation, which includes weekends and after-hours.Technical Skill Set
• Setup and maintain Windows 2003 and 2008 Active Directory environment with in depth knowledge of multi site environment with multiple domain controllers.
• Setup and maintain IIS, file shares, DFS, SMTP, GPO, RADIUS, NPS, IAS
• Setup and maintain firewall with in depth understanding of TCP/IP, NAT, PAT DNS, DHCP (Sonicwall experience is a plus)
• In depth knowledge of Layer 3 switching and routing (Dell and Cisco switch experience is a plus)
o Understanding of routing protocols (Static routes, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF)
o In depth understanding of switching technologies (LAG, STP, RSTP, CDP, ARP, VLAN, Port mirroring/spanning, stacking)
• Microsoft SQL 2005 experience
o Troubleshooting scheduled jobs, maintenance tasks, SSIS packages
o In depth knowledge of relational database to perform basic queries
• Understanding of Load Balancer and Proxy server concepts to support public facing production environment
• Strong Exchange 2007 support required
o Able to perform bare metal restoration from backup
o Able to perform data store recovery to recovery storage group
o Troubleshoot email flow in multiple Exchange server environment
• Internal/External DNS administration and trouble shoot Internet traffic
• Ability to troubleshoot network performance issues in a timely and methodical methods
• Strong Salesforce administration and support is required
o Troubleshoot SFDC API issues
o Troubleshoot SFDC integration issues with 3rd party vendors
o Configuration and implementation of new features
• Knowledge of VOIP, QoS, MPLS, and general telecom to support call center environment. (ShoreTel and LiveOps experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of VMWare ESX Server
• Knowledge of SAN technology (iSCSI and Fibre)
• Hyland OnBase Imaging & Workflow system experience is a plus
• ActiveSync and Blackberry Enterprise Server experience is a plusBusiness/Personal Skill Set
• Self motivated individual who can work under minimal supervision with ability to assess current state of ongoing projects and respond accordingly.
• Fast learner who can work with business partners to understand the business requirements and deliver results to vendors/partners/project managers
• Creative troubleshooting skills to devise workarounds and proactively research multiple resolution options to the business team.
• Professional individual who can interact with vendors and partners with great communication and documentation skills.
• Team player and customer service oriented individual who can deal with users with varying technical skills
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 4-6 years of experienceCertification : MCSE, MCITP and CCNA preferred
