Quarterly regional publication, to premiere in June 2012, currently in development is seeking staff and contributing writers for upcoming issues. Focus will be on various relevant topics for teen girls in the beach communities of NW Florida. Please submit a letter of interest and 100-150 word relevant writing sample when inquiring.

Publication aims to motivate and empower young girls (ages 14-21) to be more confident and ambitious. Features will entertain fashion & beauty topics, while regular columns aim to raise awareness of environmental issues and volunteer opportunities in the area, and to encourage positive choices in health, fitness and nutrition.

Writers must possess:

• Ability to create fun, informative & entertaining copy that will appeal to modern girls.
• Fashion, beauty, and/or nutrition/fitness experience preferred.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and be self-motivated.

Pay will be per word for contributing writers or salaried on a per issue basis for staff/column writers.
