NIGHT AUDIT RELIEF AGENT-HOTEL OCEANA, SANTA MONICA

Consider a position with our exciting high-end luxury boutique hotel Oceana, operated by JRK Hospitality (owned and managed by JRK Property Holdings). Our company owns and manages a diverse portfolio of real estate throughout United States including multifamily properties, hotels, public storage facilities as well as commercial properties, and we are poised for significant growth.
Our company needs a Night Audit Relief for the Oceana Hotel located in Santa Monica. This is a position for someone who is energetic and has the desire to grow with the company.

Job Description

•Fields all guest requests and issues and either resolves personally or involves the appropriate department to obtain guest satisfactions. Always follows up with guest after completion/resolution to ensure guest satisfaction with action taken.
•Resolves guest’s concerns in a thoughtful manner while maintaining hotel standards
•Answers overflow calls from in house and outside lines
• Manages a small bank which is used to make change for guests and in small amounts is used as petty cash and paid outs.
• Reconcile and post daily revenue activity
• Confirms billing and routing are set up properly prior to guest arrival. Complies with hotel policies on billing, routing, master account, A/R accounts and PM accounts.
• Oversee the team members working on the overnight shift and assist where needed
• Conducts Security walks throughout the Night
• Monitors guest credit authorization and obtains the appropriate amount of additional credit
• Performs a thorough bucket check in which dates, rates, payment, credit are all cross checked.

Requirements
• Previous experience in hospitality a plus
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Be aware of all rates, packages and special promotions
• Has broad knowledge of local restaurants, nightlife, museums, current events and attractions. Must be able to provide accurate and clear directions.
• High level of team orientation; works well in an interdependent environment
• Alert, attentive and aware of surroundings. Acknowledges each guest who passes through the lobby
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with ability to track status and follow up on multiple projects.
