Sponsorship Manager

Looking for a highly outgoing and energetic team player to become our head sales representative. In the role of Sponsorship Manager, you are responsible for corporate sales of an exciting conference to be held in September, 2012 in Culver City.

This is a dedicated event for the non-fiction and reality tv industry. In our third year, our goal is to continue to grow this event into a must-attend event for both attendees and sponsors.

Position will interface with various broadcasters, production companies, post-production companies and other broadcast related companies to secure sponsorship packages for the 2012 event. You will help form the sales menu as well as work with event organizers in determining the best sales opportunities at venue.

Sponsorship Opportunities Include:

Parties, Conference Packages: i.e., delegate bags, hotel and theatre signage, floor booths, magazine ads, website advertising and much, much more. . …

Marketing/sales experience is essential and/or a Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in conference events is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of fundraising in the entertainment industry.
• Professional and courteous communications skills.
• Ability to interface with both local and national advertisers.
• Practical experience in internet use and Google Docs.
• Excellent planning, organization, coordination and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow up.
• Ability to work independently at home and to work collaboratively in a team environment at our offices.
• Provide weekly progress reports to conference organizers.
