Busy Catering Company seeking full time assistant to the packing manager. Must have experience with high volume.
Will help supervise, coordinate and participate in the daily production of all food while maintaining all food quality and food safety standards.
Must be computer literate, speak and read english and Spanish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assumes the responsibility for packing room operations in the absence of the Packing Manager.
• Receives and examines food products and supplies to ensure quality, standards and specifications.
• Follow recipes exactly as written by weighing and measuring all ingredients.
• Supervises personnel engaged in all food preparation and provide constructive coaching as necessary.
• Store foods in designated areas, properly covered and dated.
• Maintain portioning standards.
• Maintain garnishing standards.
• Insure all food is rotated properly according to FIFO procedures.
• Maintain clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Set an example for the highest standards of food safety

- Meals counts on a daily basis
- Any other requirements needed by packing manager

Salary to start at $9:00 per hour.
