Conejo Valley Attorney looking for paralegal/legal assistant to work on a project by project basis. This is not a full time position but is ideal for independent contractor/freelance person working from home.

Duties would include preparing and answering discovery, research, law & motion, drafting complaints and other pleadings, scheduling, client communications and basic understanding of how court system works.

Areas of practice include personal injury (plaintiff’s), general civil litigation, lemon law and consumer legal remedies act.

Applicant must be equipped with email and fax, know how to use Westlaw and microsoft word for Mac or Pages.

Position is not suitable for someone new. Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years work experience and be able to work independently and without a great deal of supervision.

Salary depends on experience and what is being paid elsewhere.
