We are an internet marketing agency requiring the skills of a web developer in-house for at least 2 days per week (this is very likely to increase over time)

The rate for this work is $20-$25/hour based on experience so if this is not acceptable then please don’t apply. The role could very realistically lead to expanded hours or full time employment as the company grows, in fact that is the plan.

A wide variety of skills & experience is highly preferred, as we encounter many different website platforms, but these are the major skills we need on hand -

• Advanced WordPress theme customization is essential
• Strong PHP, HTML and CSS skills
• eCommerce experience – especially Magento, but the more shopping platforms the better
• To a lesser extent – Joomla, JQuery, Ajax

Any previous SEO experience will also be advantageous, as would a desire to fully learn SEO as you will be exposed to this frequently within our office and this role could develop into a mix of web development and SEO for the right person.

This is an in-house position, as we want somebody to work with directly to give visual and verbal instructions and provide fast turnaround times. However there may also be scope to quote on some jobs and take them home with you, but if you are not available to come into the office at least 2 days per week then please do not apply.
