Prominent Real Estate Firm has an immediate need for a Payroll Specialist. This is a temp to possible hire opportunity. The successful candidate will become the newest member of a firm that continues to impact urban development in major cities across the United States.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all payroll is processed within state and federal tax regulations
• Oversee all aspects of payroll management by keeping accurate records and facilitating direct deposit
• Monitor benefits accrual and process bonuses, allowances and 401Ks
• Act as an information resource regarding salary history and handle unemployment claims
• Oversee additional record-keeping and data management as needed

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; CPP preferred
• Experience using accounting software such as Ultimate Software, ADP, or Paychex
• Strong knowledge of relevant state and federal tax codes
• Firm understanding of accounting principles
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of payroll processes
