Overview

The PHP Web Developer will design and maintain websites for mobile and web consumers across a variety of verticals. Candidates should be comfortable receiving requirements and creating a plan with estimated deliverables, then executing on that plan thru programming in solo and in concert with others. Candidates should be geared toward suggesting process improvements within their own workflow and across the team. They will initiate progress, be self-motivated, and transform minimal guidance into action.

Candidates will be individuals seeking full-time employment coming into the office each day.

Responsibilities:

Programming independently and working with other developers, designers and content/marketing team
Delivering professional & functional websites, using clean code and following standards best practices
PHP website & complex web application development/optimization
MySQL database manipulation & management
Some front-end web development (HTML/CSS) & web site administration

Requirements:

Hands-on web development experience across all phases of the product lifecycle
Taking products from design mockups to functioning web pages
Technical background and communicate clearly with development staff
Debugging experience, familiarity with Google Chrome Web Developer tools or Firebug
Self-manage multiple, simultaneous projects
Experience with WordPress, or comparable CMS. Prior plugin development experience a plus.
Comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite, slicing in Photoshop
