PRODUCTION/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of production and administrative support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, focused, flexible, detail-oriented candidate who can multi-task effectively and work comfortably in a deadline-driven environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting a small office of diverse people and programs.
The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
MUST HAVE:
• 2-4 years experience supporting at the executive level
• 2-4 years experience in the Entertainment industry (Movie or TV production studios)
• Excellent project management skills, including the coordination of complex schedules
• Experience assisting management with the creation of PowerPoint presentations
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience scheduling travel arrangements for management
STRONGLY PREFER:
• Support experience in the Entertainment industry (Movie production, TV production or Video game industry preferred)
• Experience successfully creating and/or modifying processes
• Bachelor’s degree
The Production Assistant will:
• Be responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external management and production teams.
• Manage projects efficiently on time and on budget
• Excellent communication and planning skills with a history of developing effective relationships with business, technical staff and executive management.
• Successful ability to manage conflict with positive results
• Strong political acumen, diplomacy, and emotional intelligence
• Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, often ambiguous and event driven environment.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders, negotiate scope and clarify priorities
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
