A construction company in San Fernando Valley is seeking an experienced PROJECT ENGINEER for public works projects. The ideal candidate must have +3 years of experience in Public Works arena. A college degree related to construction is preferred. 
 
PROJECT ENGINEER 
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: Ability to review plans and specifications and prepare submittals, the ability to independently review, analyze, coordinate and make precise comments on submittals as well as distribute them to appropriate parties. Knowledge and experience in reviewing, analyzing and applying specifications & plans as needed. Ability to independently generate requests for Clarifications/Information and to prepare cost & time extension estimate for change orders. Ability to prepare, update and maintain submittal logs, RFI logs, Change Order logs and project record documents. Must have great communication skills and be able to closely coordinate and interact with all project team members. 
 
 
Please note that we will not consider anyone without at least 3 years of experience in PUBLIC WORKS projects. Please do not send your resume if you do not have at least 3 YEARS of EXPERIENCE doing PUBLIC WORKS projects. These projects are in Los Angeles County. We prefer candidates who are local and do not need to commute more that 20-40 miles per day.
