Purchasing Clerk (Santa Monica)

REQUIREMENTS:
>Experience in Purchasing. If you have not recent and relevant experience….DO NOT APPLY.
>Excellent communication skills
>Fluent in English and Spanish a must.
>Able to lift 50lbs
>Must have above average knowledge of general computers and software specifically Excel. (If you rate your software skills below a 7 then you will not be able to do this job)
>Able to multitask in fast paced environment with change and interruptions.
>This is NOT a desk job. You will work in the studio and it is a high-paced, fast-moving environment.Hours: M-F 6:00am to 2:30pm
DUTIES:
>Create purchasing orders and verify bills from suppliers
>Enter packaging slips invoices and other material control information into computer
>Compare and identify contents to packaging slips
>Maintain proper inventory levels
>Negotiate purchase agreements, setting price, terms and conditions with Vendors
