Opportunity for a quality assurance position in a Personal Care company. Candidate must have a clear understanding of quality control, manufacturing process and procedures, manufacturing equipment, DI water systems, batch processing, hygienic manufacturing practices and FDA OTC regulations.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the Technical Transfer of all products manufactured and filled at the facility.
Responsible of adjusting manufacturing batches to meet specifications.
Responsible for shade match and adjust colors of manufacturing batches.
Responsible for scale up lab batches.
Responsible for maintaining laboratory log books.
Responsible for calibrating lab equipment.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree with emphasis on science and/or technology and/or engineering.
Experience: 3-5 years minimum in Quality assurance, manufacturing, preferably personal care, foods, or pharmaceutical industry.
Must have a clear understanding of emulsion and surfactant technology as well as general formulation techniques.
Knowledge of cosmetic/personal care raw materials, functionality, and interactions.
Must have good people skills, be a team player, be proactive and take initiative.
