One Research Associate II position is available immediately for the study of inflammation in Staphylococcus aureus diseases. Projects consist of the discovery of virulence factors and combine the use of bacterial genetics, tissue culture, and small animal infection models to dissect the mechanistic details of host-pathogen interaction. Candidates must have a strong background in molecular biology, microbiology, and innate immunity. 1-2 years of prior research experience is required.
