Job Summary
* Seeking a highly self-motivated research associate to assist with our ongoing stem cell projects.
* Responsibilities will include complex laboratory management involvement with research of the lab.

Job Duties
* Conduct complex lab procedures and experiments which include setting up equipment, preparing samples, solutions, cell cultures, and carrying out and modifying experimental procedures.
* Recordings observations, performing data analysis and reporting results to researchers.
* Familiar with Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, RT-PCR and RNA preparation, Elisa, and cell cultures.
* Diagnoses and notifies researcher of any problems and recommends preliminary solution relating to equipment, experimental procedures, software.
* Conducts literature research; provides input to research reports, journals and articles; may present research work and participate in lab discussions.
* Order, stock, and maintain inventory on laboratory supplies.
* Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
* BS or MS or Ph.D. of Science Degree with at least 1 year of work experience in a Biology research laboratory.
* Excellent written and communication skills.
* Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
* Excellent attention to details
* Skill in keeping accurate and complete research records
* Ability to recognize irregularities and invalid results

Preferred Qualification
* Biology majors preferred.
* Experience with basic DNA and protein work, including PCR and Western blotting.
* Experience with Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, RT-PCR and RNA preparation, Elisa and cell culture.
