The Fox Audience Network is looking for a highly motivated Research Engineer to join our industry leading online advertising network team. The entry level Research Engineer position is a healthy mix of analysis, research, and development with a focus on creating useful, accessible, and actionable analytics. The responsibilities for this position include developing analytical tools to support our world class targeting platform, monitoring the competitive environment of our network, and providing reporting on product trends including their impact on revenue.

With access to over 155 million users and the world’s largest targeting platform, the FOX Audience Network is redefining the landscape of online advertising for publishers. We are in a unique position to study an enormous amount of interesting user data as well as solve the problems that arise from that data. We are seeking motivated professional problem solvers to join our corporate team that manages the definition, development and rollout of shared technologies across all of our sites.

Projects:

-Competition Modeling and Auction Theory

-Time Series Forecasting

-Retention and Attrition studies

-Predictive Analytics

-Yield Optimization

Responsibilities:

-Develop and automate new tools, procedures, and processes for analyzing our users and products across our network

-Monitor and optimize the competitive environment within our advertiser space

-Provide regular reporting on user and product trends, including their impact on the revenue of the company

-Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

-Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Strong math and statistics background

-Bachelor’s degree required, quantitative degree preferred (Math, Statistics, or Computer Science Preferred), master’s degree is a plus.

-Experience with at least one or more of the following (Java, python, C, R, SQL)

-Unix experience

-Entry level (1+ year of experience)
