    Reservations Agent

    JOB SUMMARY:
    Provide friendly, personalized and efficient service while taking vehicle rental phone and electronic reservations. Reservations agent must be flexible, organized, detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task and handle high call volumes in timely and efficient manner.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
     Answer phones in a friendly and prompt manner.
     Maintain up-to-date rate sheets to provide customers (Retail, Corporate, etc.) with speedy and knowledgeable reservation services.
     Up-sell products and services with confidence and without hesitation. Requires agent to be knowledgeable on vehicle fleet, vehicle features and all additional options and services offered by the company.
     Heavy data entry, vehicle research tools and computer use to locate required vehicles and options to satisfy customers needs and requests.
     Must be able to effectively identify, research and resolve customer service issues using all available tools while maintaining optimal customer service expectations and reduced hold times.
     Recognize, document and alert immediate supervisor of noticeable trends in customer calls.
     Must maintain consistency and follow through when communicating with customers, including complete, prompt email confirmations.
     Maintain relationships with agents and accounts.
     Must be able to complete basic rental agent job duties when necessary. Including opening and closing rental agreements, move vehicles between rental locations, complete pick ups and deliveries, etc.
     Maintaining Automatic Pick Up (APU) logs and alerting dispatch of all new APU’s.
     Have a positive attitude and outlook and be willing to help any other person or department in the company.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • 1-2 years of customer service experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • High energy level
    • Great at multi-tasking
    • Attention to detail and organized
    • Clean driving records (no more than 1 point, DUI, reckless driving or any other serious driving offenses in the last 3 years)
    • No misdemeanor or felony criminal record
