SALES ASSISTANT (WEST HILLS/DOWNTOWN L.A.)

  • This is a great job for someone who likes to talk on the phone, organize and loves sales! The ideal candidate is responsible, detail oriented, a good problem solver, able to work on more than one task at once, is good with customers and has previous sales experience. I represent a successful line of kids shoes from newborn-8 years. I need someone who can follow up with customers for re-orders and help with customer requests and needs, help keep orders filed and organized, keep track of calls and able to find leads to pursue for business with follow through. Computer experience, especially with excel and google is a plus. The ability to do light accounting work is needed as well. I also have a showroom downtown at the LA Mart and need someone to represent the company during markets. (also part time, but includes weekends) Markets are 6 times per year. I estimate the job will be anywhere from 8-20 hours per week and the hours are flexible but need to be during the business hours of 10-2. On market weeks, it will be closer to 20-24 hours. The office is located in West Hills at my home and it is a very casual environment. (Dress up is only required when we see customers.) There is room to grow and it is a great opportunity for someone who knows how to sell successfully and has a mind for business and marketing. I would like someone who is committed, likes the schedule and can help build my business as well as their knowledge in the field. Compensation will follow with the level of value that you bring to the company.
