We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Technical Team leader for our Bakersfield office. The Bakersfield area offers endless recreational opportunities, good schools, and affordable housing! 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE mentoring talented staff and designing and preparing plans, specifications, calculations, and estimates in connection with the construction or modification of various engineering projects with emphasis on upstream oil and gas production. POSITION REQUIREMENTS 
• This position requires residency or relocation to the greater Bakersfield area. 
• Minimum – Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Chemical Engineering. (P.E. registration highly desired.) 
• 10+ years demonstrated mechanical design experience in oil and gas facilities onshore and offshore (topsides). (Refinery work a plus.) 
• 5+ years demonstrated project experience at the senior professional level on major, upstream projects in the oil and gas industry. 
• Experience in networking, developing, establishing, and managing business relationships resulting in new project work for the business. 
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams to success, including past experience directly reviewing and managing employee performance, and mentoring a team of five or more reports.
