Senior Treasury Analyst (Calabasas, CA)

Position Overview: This position contributes to the company’s success by assisting with core aspects of Treasury operations including, cash positioning, bank account management, payment processing, cash forecasting, etc. This includes assisting with the development of cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the company, monitoring fees and participating in various projects as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determine daily cash position and requirements
- Create cash forecasts (month/quarter/annual). Perform variance analysis on actual cash flows versus what was forecasted
- Forecast interest income. Perform variance analysis on actual cash flows versus what was forecasted
- Periodically analyze investments and monitor financial risk ratios to ensure returns match risk and are in line with company investment policy
- Liaise with IT as it relates to cash management system updates
- Liaise with other Finance dept particularly as it relates to TRecs
- Analyze and monitor bank and credit card fees. Identify any abnormal activity and research to determine cause
- Assist to manage Line of Credit program
- Assist with control testing for Sarbane’s Oxley on a quarterly basis
- Maintain departmental business recovery plan and process maps for departmental activities
- Assist with daily treasury activities
Qualifications
- 5 years of treasury or finance experience
- Possesses advanced knowledge of cash management, accounting, and banking systems
- Understanding of financial and credit markets
- Experience with enterprise financial systems (e.g. Lawson, etc)
- Good working knowledge of GAAP Strong computer skills particular with spreadsheet modeling (Excel)
- Strong analytical capabilities with an aptitude for problem solving
- Good communication skills, both in person and in writing
- Self motivated, strong work ethic, attention to detail, process driven, team oriented and acts with integrity and trust
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
