Furniture Wholesaler/Importer located in Vernon, CA seeking a multi-tasker with strong shipping experience and effective communications. Position is fast paced, deadline orientated and requires continuous follow thru and the ability to work and attain freight carriers. Problem Solving, Booking Shipments and interaction with carriers, customers and vendors are major roles for this position and we need an experienced professional to take control, own the position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- WAREHOUSE / INVENTORY CONTROL
- Freight Carrier Website Usage / Creating Bills of Lading/Booking Shipments
- Tracking Updates / Follow up on confirmed orders
- Responsible for Double Checking all shipments to ensure correct products are shipping
- Filing & Completing Damage Claims with Freight Carriers
- Continuously reaching to attain new freight carriers and interact with existing carriers to ensure best pricing and knowledge of services each carrier provides
- Log Management of Claims, Carrier Information and Outgoing Shipments

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Shipping/Freight Logistics Skills a must (Not just Fed Ex or UPS Ground)
- Proficient in utilizing Freight Carrier Websites
- Wholesale/Importer experience a plus
- Excellent Problem Solving Skills and follow up skills required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Team Player Attitude, willing to go the extra mile
- Computer Application Savvy

Hours of Operation are 8am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday.
