Our products are in use at many healthcare organizations and have gained visibility at the federal health agencies-level for potential national mandate. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the coordination and resource management of our R&D and services efforts. The candidate must know how to strike a balance between discipline and flexibility, have experience managing software engineers and is laser-focused on planning. The candidate must possess an entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude and be eager to shape the company’s direction and structure.

Responsibilities
• Help develop project goals and plans, involving engineers and product managers
• Work with team members to estimate project resources
• Proactively monitor and update project plans while evaluating project risks
• Routinely communicate project status to stakeholders
• Promptly address potential project obstacles before impacting timeline and budget
• Delegate and escalate as necessary
• Develop best practices and tools to improve productivity and quality

Qualifications
• Successfully managed software projects from concept to delivery
• Effectively facilitated in-person and on-line group meetings
• Worked on enterprise information systems deployment
• Thrive on people interactions
• Comfortable with quantitative analysis
• Experience using project management tools such as MS Project
• Software development experience a plus
• Worked closely with both software engineers and product managers
• Excellent task management skills; self-directed and capable of working effectively in a highly dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills; able to facilitate your own meetings as necessary, comfortable working with all levels of the organization
