POSITION 1: (3 openings)
 

 
Job Description:
 
In this position you will write test cases, execute test cases and document results, and work closely with engineers and product managers while writing defect descriptions. This position requires deep understanding of QA methodologies and process and the ability to apply that understanding.
 

 
Responsibilities:
 
- Strong understanding of the internal and external software
 
- Design test plans, write test cases, review functional requirement documentation, and present test strategies for team review
 
- Submit, regress, and verify defects( Blackbox/Greybox/Whitebox)
 
- Conduct White box and Grey box testing
 
- Communicate project and testing status to internal and external teams
 
- Test database interactions at both the end-user and backend levels
 
- Be proactive and exercise flexibility and multi-tasking ability in a high stress environment
 
- Fully understand the internal and external software processes
 
- Design and create automation test cases, using home-grown automation suites provided by tools developers
 

 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
- Excellent QA principles for testing, planning, and defect classification
 
- Excellent written and verbal skills are required
 
- Experience with Internet/Web-serving QA
 
- Experience with Load Testing theories, methodologies, analysis and tools
 
- 5+ years of recent Unix/Linux experience: command-line usage, simple shell scripting, environment control

POSITION 2: (2 Openings)
 

 
Responsibilities:
 
- Influence and help build QE in a fun and fast-paced dynamic team environment.
 
- Communicate clearly and effectively in the creation of test suites, test cases, and test harnesses
 
- Focus on test framework design and execution using Selenium.
 
- Define test plans and test specifications as well as design tools for unit, functional and performance testing, execution of test cases, and reporting product failures
 
- Follow project milestones; design, implement, document, and execute tests; evaluate and communicate results; and investigate product features (including ad hoc testing)
 
- Analyze and assess SQL database data structure, integrity, content, and test DB deployment/replication processes and stored procedures/triggers
 
- Set up the processes required to promote the overall quality of the product
 
- Review code changes to help the team identify needed test cases for efficient execution.
 

 
Qualifications for Success:
 
- Bachelors degree with emphasis on Computer Science, Computer & Electrical Engineering majors
 
- 3+ years of enterprise software engineering experience
 
- 3+ years of testing front-end UI of java web applications and hands-on experience in UI automation with Selenium.
 
- 2+ years of expertise in Java development or hands-on experience in Java. JUnit and TestNG experience required.
 
- 2+ years with the design, development and testing of complex queries (SQL, Pl/SQL) and data retrieval (Stored Procedures, Triggers) from very large OLAP/OLTP relational databases or data marts/warehouses (Oracle, Teradata, MySQL)
 
- 2+ years within a Linux/UNIX environment and extensive Perl and/or shell scripting with Hands-on experience in back-end testing of Linux/Unix based applications and systems
 
- Experience with build tools like Ant and/or Maven
 
- Customer-focused, ability to triage and troubleshoot issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects
