Subsitute Program Specialist

Basic Duties: Is in charge of a group of 20-25 children daily and is responsible for homework assistance, snack, and following all curriculum provided by the organization. Staff will be developing lessons on activities relevant to literature, math, monthly themes, science, and physical education. Staff will be involved in managing classroom behavior and discipline students accordingly. This position takes place in a school type environment.

Requirements: 48 college units required, AA preferred. TB Test, Live scan(company will provided these tests), CPR/First Aid certified and minimum of 6 months experience working with children.

Work hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 1:30 pm-6:00pm and Wednesday 12:30 pm -6:00pm, hours may vary by specific site.
Must be available at least 3 days a week for subbing at different schools. Seasonal 10-month work year.

Please note that there is a possibility that this position can turn into a permanant position. This job is very beneficial to anyone who is interested in going into the field of education.
