A small GYN Ambulatory Surgical Center is looking for a Surgical Tech (part time)

(Female ST is preferred due to the nature of the procedures.)

No experience required, this opportunity is good for a new grad or a student who is near the graduation date and who is looking to finish the internship hours. We can provide 30 hours or more of onsite training which will be signed off as the hours for your school. Upon completion of the required hours the position will open up sometime in mid-April.

Requirements:

The Surgical Technician assists the Surgical Team in providing high quality health care to the patient that requires surgical intervention. ST applies basic knowledge of aseptic technique, principles of sterilization and understanding of the purpose and use of instruments. Familiar with the different surgical equipment and instrumentation and its functions. Requires close concentration and high degree of accuracy and organization to prepare, set up and assists on surgical procedures. Knowledge of procedures such as Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, D&C, etc. is a big plus.
ST must have a Diploma upon completion of the training, CST certification preferred, but NOT required.
