We are a technology company out of Burbank, CA, developing media-rich software. We’ve got a working proof of concept and are looking to expand. The working environment is non corporate, hours are flexible (preferably with as much overlap with the rest of the team as possible).

Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is able to communicate and is a team player. Experience in media industry is a plus.

Candidates should have working knowledge of the following technologies:
- CentOS/RHEL (Or other Linux, if you think you can learn fast enough)
- LDAP
- CFEngine/Puppet/Salt
- Git/SVN
- Apache2/Nginx
- NFS
- LVM2

Our ideal candidate has the following background:
- Experienced in Scrum methodology
- Has worked in a high paced product delivery environment
- Is familiar with management of day to day system administration tasks

Our Candidate will be required to:
- Build out new infrastructure
- Keep thorough documentation (Doesn’t need to be pretty, just comprehensive.)
- Keep watch over regulatory compliance issues and make suggestions where applicable
- Either automate repetitive tasks or work with programmers to craft stable solutions to problems
- Monitor services, taking action where required to maintain a healthy environment
- Make suggestions regarding industry best practices
- Recommend system improvements and participate in improving overall architecture
- Be responsible and accountable for maintaining the infrastructure
- Work under minimal supervision and escalate issues to senior management

Candidate must have:
- 2-5 years experience in applicable fields
- Bachelors (or equivalent) in a computer-related field

Candidates will get bonus points for:
- Experience with desktop (Mac OS X, Windows) integration (LDAP, NFS, etc)
- Experience with Google Apps
- Experience with Amazon EC2/CloudFront/S3
- Experience with any of the following TLAs: SAS 70, PCI, NPPI/NPI, SOX
