Part Time Positions
 

 
Currently, there are several openings for traffic data collection technicians in the Los Angeles area. This is a part time seasonal job.
 
While experience is a plus, there is no experience necessary to apply.
 

 
If you are not available to work from Tuesday to Thursday, please do not apply.
 

 
This position includes tracking vehicle movements within a specified intersection using provided equipment over an allotted amount of time. Parking inventories, License Plate studies and pedestrian surveys are a few examples of other studies that you may be asked to conduct. Necessary training will be provided for all studies requested.
 

 
The morning and afternoon shifts are split. The morning shift typically begins around 7am for morning collection, and 4PM for afternoon collection. Shift times may vary. The duration of each shift is about 2 hours, but can also vary. Applicants MUST have flexibility where times are concerned.
 

 
The work day is usually 4-5 hours long, not including travel time or the down time between counts. The work week is typically from Tuesday – Thursday. There are occasions where a Monday, Friday or weekend assignment will become available, but these assignments are not as common. Flexible availability is viewed favorably.
 

 
This position requires a willingness and ability to travel anywhere that may be needed within the greater Los Angeles area. If you’re interested in becoming extremely familiar with the area, or enjoy new environments, you may be well suited.
