The Designer role is an important part of our development team and essential to the build out of our web products. Work alongside our world class engineering team to build scalable solutions for consumer and merchant facing brands.

Responsibilities:
* Prototype and wireframe user interactions, navigation and functional specs
* Consult with cross-department teams to assure consistent designs for all new projects and current assets.
* Interaction and visual design throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial explorations through final design deliverables such as use cases, task flows, user interface elements, and prototypes
* Work with product owners on product rollouts including user acceptance testing and usability testing
* Analyze and evaluate current user interfaces and user usage reports and propose usability improvements
* Create, maintain, and enforce the UI standards and documentation.
* Participate and lead user focus groups with internal and external clients.
* Develop thorough, realistic website designs that support organizational and customer objectives
* Analyze website audiences and their information and functional needs
* Define site architecture and navigation that serves as a blueprint of the site upon which all other aspects are built
* Ensure consistent user interfaces
* Design visual mockups
* Create wireframes, site maps, schematics, process maps, feature lists, mockups, visual specification, working prototypes and other artifacts to describe the intended user experience
* Being accountable for the user interaction model, workflows, information architecture, schematics, and interface guidelines.
* Communicating design strategy and rationale to the team.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of web design (UI) experience
* 3+ years* experience as an Information Architect or UX Designer wireframing and prototyping user interactions
* Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology
* Exceptional communication skills
* Good leadership and interpersonal skills
* Detail-oriented
* Comfortable in a fast-pace environment
* Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
* Experience working with of design related software or rapid prototyping tool preferred(Axure, Visio, iRise, Photoshop)
* Solid foundation with HTML, CSS, JavaScript Libraries preferred * coding not required
* Solid visual design skills a major plus
* Experience working on large, complex web based applications
* Experience with mobile a plus
* Experience observing user research and translating user research into design decisions
* Online portfolio with a range of interactive samples preferred
