Were searching for a User Experience/Visual Designer to provide creative excellence to our projects. You should be able to work from idea to finish product, with great attention to detail, and with a strong understanding of web development.

Ideal candidates must have demonstrated accomplishments in creative leadership, an understanding of social media, and experience designing for web based platforms and mobile/tablet. You will use extensive experience, creative talent, excellent management skills and strong leadership skills to inspire and produce the highest quality design concepts, branding and product development work.

Your role requires expert level skills in leadership, creativity and digital media software and techniques, online social communication media, web design and e-commerce. You will be responsible for leading efforts assuring content is creative, user friendly, is error-free and on time.

Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years experience:

• Designing for consumer facing web interfaces.
• Illustration, graphic design, web design, management and production
knowledge of the preparation of artwork for websites, web deployment and mobile/tablet reproduction.
• Visual design principles as they apply to the creation of web user interfaces and practical knowledge of user centered design methodologies.
• Information architecture and interaction design principles.
• Up to date knowledge of new online technologies including CSS3, HTML5 and JQUERY. (this is not a development position but expert understanding of online technologies is required)
• Experience with responsive CSS is a plus.
• BA/BS or MA/MS in Graphic Design from a 4-year University or art school (or equivalent formal training).
• Must have online portfolio with proven history of creating pixel perfect web interfaces and online user experiences.

This is a full-time, contract position which requires you to be in our Encino, CA office Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm. This is a contract to potential full-time position, initial contract period will be 30 days and extended based on performance.
