Fruit Growers Supply Company (FGS) is a nonprofit cooperative association that provides Sunkist Growers and others in the agricultural community most materials and items required to grow, harvest, package and ship citrus. FGS has grown along with the west’s citrus production after being organized in 1907 by members of California Fruit Growers Exchange (now Sunkist Growers).

We have an immediate opportunity for a Web/BI Software Developer at our Sherman Oaks, CA headquarters.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
•Develops applications, dashboards, reports, screens, etc. using tools such as Business Objects, VB .Net, Crystal Reports, Webi, Xcelsius;
•Supports, develops, maintains, and troubleshoots websites using PERL, PHP, HTML5, GIF automation, text files, MySQL databases, and JavaScript;
•Maintains SQL Databases;
•Maintains data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act;
•Translates client requirements into project briefs;
•Identifies options for potential solutions and assess them for technical suitability;
•Creates logical and innovative solutions to complex problems;
•Works closely with external consultants;
•Meets deadlines;
•Documents all developments and changes;
•Provides user training;
•Provides Help Desk support;
•Controls access permissions and privileges;
•Works closely with IT manager;
•Other duties as assigned.

Secondary responsibilities:
•Designs, develop, support, maintain, and program SAP applications using custom tables, structures, views, table types, domains, data elements, screens, function groups, function modules, and parameters;
•Performs mass updates in various SAP modules;
•Supports, maintains and modifies various SAPScript forms;
•Sets up, monitors, and maintains various SAP scheduled jobs;
•Develops and/or modifies custom SAP reports;
•Maintains certain SAP configuration;
•SAP Basis Experience;

Education, skills and experience requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent, four-year college degree preferred;
•Two years or more appropriate experience;
•Exposure to project management and software development methodologies;
•Excellent communication skills;
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access.
