Winemonger Imports is an import and wholesale company based in Northern California specializing in Austrian, Italian and very select American wines. We are currently hiring wine sales reps immediately for the following territories:

-Los Angeles
-Glendale, Pasadena and points East
-San Fernando and points North
-Orange County
-San Diego

There is the possibility of combining parts of these regions. Carrying another non-competing portfolio is welcomed.

The right candidate will have the following qualifications:

*Previous fine wine sales experience and relationships with top accounts in the territory are a necessity.
*Be able to maintain existing relationships and develop new ones.
*Ability to thrive in a highly competitive environment.
*Proven sales skills.
*Excellent organizational skills.
*Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
*Candidate MUST own a working computer.
*Persuasive communication skills as well as the ability to close deals.
* Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and valid proof of automobile insurance.

Your responsibilities include:

*Managing sales in the market.
*Working in the market to build strong relationships with all accounts.
*Opening new accounts.
*Some nights/weekends visiting accounts to make placements.
*Conducting in-store tastings and wait staff trainings.
*Selling lots of wine

Candidates who live out of the territory they are applying for, or who do not have previous sales experience in the territory will not be considered.

Salary is commission-based depending upon experience, with an auto and mobile phone expense allowance.
