Pali Adventures Summer Camp (www.paliadventures.com) and Choose A Camp (www.chooseacamp.com) are looking for an excellent writer to write between 250 and 500 stories on pretty much every topic there is with regards to summer camp. ie How to pack for summer camp, how to pick a summer camp, is going to a Secret Agent Camp right for you etc . . .

These stories will be used on both of the websites.

You will work with editors of our other properties including but not limited to specialneeds.com, familymagazinegroup.com and sevenstarfamilytravel.com

You will be given a list of the stories that we want written and it will be your job to research on line or interview experts for each of the pieces.

If you don’t know already, you will be trained how to key word tag a story for SEO purposes, be shown how to upload stories to Facebook and Twitter and how to select the best story topic that will result in the most exposure to the reader we are looking for.

Skills required

Must have experience with summer camp, by either being a camper, counselor or senior staff member.
Must be an excellent entertaining writer.
Must be a fast writer. You will be expected to write 4 to 8 unique stories per day.
Must be a fast typist. 50 WPM expected.
Must be detail focused.

This position will run from mid February to mid May with the opportunity to be promoted to editor of one of the sites in our web portfolio after a successful completion of the job.

How to apply:

In your cover letter state that you understand that this is a job where you will be expected to be in the office daily, state how quick a typist you are and explain quickly why you would be qualified to write on the topic of summer camp.

Interviews will be held the week of February 6th and employment will begin on Monday February 13th.
